I thought that the every day knives we had worked, but my wife convinced me to order this for her and she was right. This knife works great and slices easily and evenly. She said her Mom had one when she was a kid and this was a must have for our kitchen.

This is the best knife I have ever used for slicing tomatoes. Actually slices smoothly without squashing the tomato. Highly recommend.
