Barely scratches the surface, and gives hardly any attention to Italian Renaissance fashion. I expected more from such a weighty book and subject.

As I am not into the history of fashion and I only blend in to what is in and out, I somehow realized that everything we have today, what we wear is a re-polished version of what they wear before. The book is great actually, just that I wasn't able to adapt the terms used in some part.
