Haven't tried to refill yet, but works great with the sample liquid soap that was included. Just stick your hand under and you get a squirt of soap :)

Great product so far. Don't know how cheaper versions would hold up. I know one of the features of this was it has some kind of triangular, dispensing nozzle that is non-drip.
