I normally sleep on the average pillow - nothing that indicates firm/super firm. This pillow is a good sleep. I did not find it too firm that I didn't sleep well. I actually slept pretty good. The pillow looks just like the photo; 5-6 inch depth. I highly recommend for purchase.
