I have read so few books that I can't put down, that when I finished this one, I ordered everything the author had written. What a good example for all of us, men and women alike to follow. I will preface this by saying that I listened to this book, and enjoyed the narrator.

Love this series and love this character! This is my third read with Velva Jean and am now currently on the fourth as an early reviewer of American Blonde. It's a page turner. Highly recommended.

Way too sappy and unrealistic. Velva Jean is pure corn pone from them thar hills I managed to get it it read but won't be reading any more about Velva Jean.
