The lamp is mostly plastic but looks great and works awesome for what we wanted and it was half the price for that exact same one at other websites.

I really like this lamp better than the 5 bulb lamp I had before. I like being able to adjust the smaller lamp toward my desk if needed. It is very bright. Much more than I expected it to be . I am very satisfied with this. Very easy to put together. Much more sturdy than expected also.
