I've never had a coffee grinder before. I did my research before making a decision. There were cheaper and pricier items. I made my decision based on the reviews AND the consistent comments about how quiet this grinder is. It is quiet, price is good. So happy I made this choice.

This is a nice alternative to purchasing a high-end conical burr grinder. Very affordable and seems to be built well. My only negative on the design is the top. Because of the construction of the top, moisture is retained between the plastic sections and takes an extremely long time to dry out...
