My son and I have been able to use this fairly easily for geocaching. It is good for beginners, but those who use it need to make sure the caches they want to download are saved in GPX format.

We used an older GPS Unit when we started the hobby of Geocashing. We soon found that we needed a unit that would allow us to not only find Geocashes but also allow us to place them. This unit has many extras including tools that will allow you to track the distance from one point to another etc....

Please note, I am reviewing solely on what I have seen of the product thus far. It is a Christmas gift for my nephews, and it looks to be the perfect starter kit for geocaching. The device itself looks user friendly, and the accessories are just what they need to get started.
