This is a Lou Boldt mystery. I used to read a lot of them, but have drifted away. This wasn't one of the best, although it had lots of familiar characters. Lou's wife becomes involved with a man who wants to use her to rob a bank. Can Lou protect her, while using her to catch the robber?

Lots of wheels within wheels in this Lou Boldt episode. Personal secrets are revealed. fingernails are painfully removed and almost every possible local, state, and federal law enforcement is involved. Interesting characters and a lively plot make for a good book. This is a good book.
