I have to say that I enjoyed the book. I once had a physics professor who expressed lessons based on his past experience kind of like David. It was an easy and educational read.

This book is a great book for the novice mechanic but may not be enough new information for the seasoned mechanic. It is written in an easy to read style with lots of colorful pictures and diagrams. It shows the Holley model but also others for those just learning about carburetors.

If you are old enough to remember when cars had carburetors, you'll enjoy this book, even if you are not rebuilding a Holley. You certainly will learn how carbs work, and how to rebuild and tune one - way beyond just listening and adjusting with a screwdriver. Great book, fantastic pictures.
