If you are looking for an old fashion peeler like your mother had this one is great. Be careful though it is very sharp. I peel away from my body and this one works perfectly. Got it the day before thanksgiving so it was perfect timing.

Great quality. The size is just right and it looks very sturdy. So far used it ones to peel a butternut squash and it worked perfectly.

The original peeler , all metal sharp too , I almost forgot how sharp this thing is once we use it we take it for granted that it peels pretty much everything that needs peeling, and for how many years we have this in the kitchen drawers .
