Disappointed! Definitely not what I was expecting. I had such high hopes based on the reviews. I felt like it dragged on for way too long. He was too much of a gentleman and not the bodice-ripper that I wanted him to be. He was artsy, and a little snobby. Do women really want to romanced to death...

Weird writing, the characters were not that great, the pairing didn't do it for me, Julia is very whiney and then all of a sudden she gets a streak of boldness. Like I said, weird. The first 150 pages were so very good, but the book should've ended there. Not sure if I'll read the second.

I was not sure what to expect with this book..But once I started to read it..I was unable to let it go. I read before I went sleep,during lunch and before I went to sleep. I love the romance between both Gabriel and Julianne. I love how they talk in Italian and I learned a lot of Italian romance....
