Use of both shims made it to thick for mounting bracket.Leaving one shim out made it a sloppy fit. Had to use one of my own shims for correct fit

The part does not fit correctly to the frame bracket without shimming it with washers. The castle nut is too short and the cotter pin does not engage the nut. The part didn't fit correctly. I had to modify one of the washers to fit it property. The ball joint was way to long, the cotter pin barely engaged the castle nut. Less than one year of easy service the rubber was gone and it needed replacement.
