The futon is held by only two medal bars on each side so when you sit back on it, it shifts back. It does not feel sturdy one bit. It is a well made piece of frniture and looks terrific in my spare bedroom. Walmart always has good quality of their products. I would give it a 5 it also was easy to assemble. Jo M

This is a very nice looking sofa for the price. It is a little stiff but comfortable. Seems a little top-heavy like it might fall over but I probably put the legs on wrong LOL
