This is an excellent, workable curriculum for instructors of high-ability or gifted late elementary students. Its recommendations support and expand upon natural curiosity, and its format manages (mostly) to avoid tedium. Lots of great ideas here.

Well designed with vivid color to capture the eye while the student learns. Great feel in the hands. Nice layout. Sturdy. Plenty of facts. My son (9) actually picked it up and started reading. Days later we would hear "Did you know...?" Highly recommended.
