Being a native of Minnesota, I enjoyed reading short stories about places with which I am very familiar. A few of the stories were a bit slow, but others really capture the reader's attention.

I've enjoyed Boston Noir and Los Angeles Noir so I expected this to be as good as the others. This set of short stories set in Minneapolis and St Paul delivered interesting sketches of the people who lived there.

I love Noir and this book gave me a lot to love. The settings and people in the various stories really lived up to my expectations. I plan on getting other books in this series.
