I wish I would've bought a WiFi enabled DVR to make setting up the remote viewing easier. I had to buy a netgear wnce2001 wireless adapter and configure it to my DVR and modem.

the hook-up part was pretty easy for me but i have experiance running and fishing wires and mounting things. the configuration of all the features if you choose to utilize them seems challenging for a me as i am a computer moron.
