Received this from Early Reviewers. I haven't read the other books in this series, but will definitely go to read those. Love the writing as well as the characters. It took a bit to get into the book, the history, but was well worth it. Looking forward to learning about the other "Highland Guards".

This was a very good book. I have not read the other books in the series so I was a little behind on the knowledge. It was well written and the characters were well developed. It did start out a little slow but once it picked up I couldn't put it down. I will definitely be reading the other books...
