I was really excited to hear that this book was coming out! It ties a lot of ends up about Halt and Will and everyone else. I like the point of view of how a group of archeologists find the stories and go through about the Rangers. It's a really neat take on the book.

Wonderful stories that fill in some of the gaps in and between the books in the series. The series is wrapped up in an agreeably satisfying way. Lord how I cried in the story about Tug! I loved reading this whole series and am delighted that he's remaining this this world for his next series.

This book was great for any avid reader of the series. if you were into reading the other rangers aprentice book then this would be a wonderful and mush apreciated adition to fill in the blanks of the series.
