I'm a fan of this series, and pre-ordered this one, but it's a bit of a disappointment. The plot is straggly, and doesn't make sense, and Garrett keeps telling us he's not acting normally (not a good sign). It's a quick read though.

I really enjoyed this one. Not sure how Cook has kept me interested in a series 14 books long, but he has. The bittersweet tone of the most of the story gave it a little push over the usual wise-cracking, and I enjoyed the fact that Nero Wolfe...err, the Dead Man...wasn't a major factor in this one.
