I usually use this pad for applying coating like "Tire and Trim Gel" on rubber and plastic around the windows and the bumper. Except for the great quality of the pad (like all other CG microfiber pads) i love the black one because you can't see stains from the rubber on it. Great product!

I used this applicator this weekend for the water spot remover and let me tell you it worked great. The sponge is firm enough to fill your hand yet soft enough to apply the product.
