So far this series has been at a good pace and leaves one thinking. I think the plot is nicely written.

Like I said about Volume 1, very well written, but deeply disturbing. In some ways, even moreso than the first book, as character progression makes things get weirder faster. If nothing else, this is one of the most disturbing "first contact" scenarios I've ever read in my life.
