Don't waste your money. I purchased the Winegard G3 for our new RV and was very disappointed. I tested the unit for two weeks in our driveway and it worked 2/20 times. I don't give up easy on technology and spent hours troubleshooting the system along with the Winegard customer service people....

This product is the worst. Weve had it 7 months and only gotten to work once. Customer support is terrible. When they cant figure out the problem, the call mysteriously drops. Forcing you to call back and be on hold for 45 minutes. TOTAL waste of money

I could not get any reception with it I even had DirecTV technician try and he also told me in about a year there the satellite will be going away and in order to use this you would have to upgrade some parts that cost almost $200

Carryout G3 is not compatible with our new rv. I spent an hour on phone with Winegard help line and only way it will work is to run coax thru door/window direct to receiver or redo wiring in RV.
