As a lawyer I have used literally thousands of legal pads over the course of my 30-year career. This is the highest quality pad I have ever run across. The paper is smooth an substantial and takes ink flawlessly. The brown cover is a wonderful privacy feature and conveys a professional look.

I like the texture of the paper. It's nicely bound; I like have lines on one side and graph on the other. The back is also nice and sturdy for support when writing. (Although not as sturdy as it used to be. But what is like it used to be. LOL)
