I bought this for my husband as a Annivercery gift, we got married on Halloween. While I tend towards the "romanic" he's definitely more macabre, so it's hard to find a great gift. HE loved it! Unfortunately it was broken durning a renovation so I will be replacing it shortly!

this statue is beautiful, it has very clear and precise carvings, the eyes, nose etc are clearly made, the surface is smooth and it looks as if the wings could open any minute to enfold the girl. my husband died, and when I saw this statue I knew I had to have it, it made me feel. not many pieces...
