Using in the foyer, but expect to use as extra seating at the kitchen table and as a table both indoors and out. The finish is a bit rough, so will use a cushion or sheepskin when using it as a seat. Ours is lighter than the image on my monitor, but I find it to be a good neutral for our use.

I anticipated that when I got this bench either the quality would be subpar, or it would be nothing like the picture/description portrayed it. I was wrong, it looks so much better than I ever imagined and is very sturdily made. Very pleasantly surprised.
