It does leave a soap residue if you use too much soap. It holds a lot and a load takes about 1.5 hours. This was the best price I could find and I noticed they were all the same just a different brand.

If you should have anything that has set for a day or two, you will have to use the heavy setting. We are getting a lot of soap residue if using the normal mode. Otherwise, this is a great time saver.
