I used to have one of the classic kankens, but I didn't quite like the stiffness of the fabric. But this one is made with softer fabric, and it's good to know that it has made with less dyes, less water, and less energy. And you can even recycle after use! I really hope they make kid-size rekanke...

The backpack is pretty much just as expected - roomy enough for a small laptop, but I appreciate that it is lightweight and packs pretty flat. The only downside is that I wish there was a zipped interior pocket.

I have been a Kanken fan for a few years but always had trouble keeping the canvas version clean. I LOVE the Re-Kanken material, it's so easy to clean with a lint roller. I think the size of the classic is perfect. I'm smaller and larger backpacks and straps hurt my back. I can fit my work laptop...

I love my new Re-Kanken in Spring green! The colors is bright and beautiful. The fabric is lightweight and heavy-duty. The main pocket fully unzips for easy access. The square shape of the bag makes it so easy to fill it with tons of good stuff. I do wish the front pocket was more easily accessib...
