Another good book by the author that set the standard for thriller series in the 1960s. This was not the usual 4 stars but worth the read.

Once again, that bronzed beach bum Travis McGee takes a case that probably won't pay him much, but he gets to clear an old friend's honor and name. Of course, he winds up shaking a lot of snakes out of the trees, and he does get bit some.
