I love this penI I only use blue ink, lovethe grip, size of barrel and tip. This has been my pen of choice for about 15 years at my office. I think it does write smooth, and I like the medium point vs. fine point.

These are the best ballpoint pens available today. The grip allows you to hold the pen in a steady manner. The fine point allows for very crisp and detailed writing. There isn't a thing I would change about these pens. They are the only pens I buy, both black and blue ink.
