Leg bands are finished so that they are soft and don't pinch *sensitive* areas. Crotch lining is soft and is wide enough to secure a pad, another pet peeve with other underwear.

These are really great undies! Incredibly soft and they don't dig into the skin. As with a lot of undies that don't have exposed elastic, they don't have a lot of "grip" and can migrate.(Ahem... they're not wedgie-proof.) I think the softness makes up for it, though. Highly recommend.
