Voltage drops below 13 volts under load. Batter light comes on and stays. I went through two of these alternators (one under the one year warranty) Both of them were no good. Giant waste of time and money. Put it in and only got 13.1v at idle with no accessories, should be closer to 14v and with the ac or headlights on it drops to 12.4 and the battery light comes on. Giant piece of crap and would never recommend to anyone ever.

Alternator works at a lower voltage than OEM. The built in regulator is set to a lower voltage than the original. Causes the low battery indicator to remain on.
