Hoover Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, UH71013

I bought this Rewind UH71013 yesterday and out of the box there was a broken clip to hold the flexible hose in place. 10 minutes into vacuuming (after using duct tape to hold the hose in place) the drive belt came off - and this has happened 3 times in 10 minutes!

I have had for about 6 months and it worked well and than one day the switch to turn on just stopped working. So I now have a brand new vacuum that doesn't turn on. Cleaned all filters the system check is green. Dont know what it is just went dead!!! Help!!!

I vacuumed the other day and everything was fine, took that thing out another day and the vacuum just randomly wouldn't turn on. Tried to plug it in at 5 different places in the house, wouldn't work. Then showed my husband and it wouldn't turn on at first but then out of the blue it worked again....

I have had this one since black friday and would not recommend it to anyone who only vacuums once a week and has pets. It quits on thermal after about 5 minutes of use and plugs up with minamal use.To vacuum my living room which should take about 5 minutes takes over an hour because it keeps kick...

I had the previous version of the Rewind for 10 years. Worked like a horse until it was time to retire. I was pleased to find the same vacuumn, but am disappointed that after 8 days and two uses, I have to replace the belt.
