I purchased this rack after seeing Ina Garten use one to cook bacon in the oven. It does a good job keeping the bacon cooking and out of the grease. It's also a great rack for cooling baked goods.

Great wire rack! Very sturdy, cleaned up well. Used it on the gas grill to grill a spatchcock turkey for Thanksgiving. It handled the heat fine for several hours. Fits in a large cookie sheet nicely.

solid and sturdy, balanced well with no wobble, have not put it through rigorous testing but it looks like it will handle washing well. even though I have a dishwasher , I prefer to hand wash, not sure how it would do in a dishwasher but I'm sure it would be fine
