I'm A Frog by Mo Willems is about Piggie taking on a new identity and teaching his best friend, Gerald the Elephant about pretending. (And how adults do it too ;) ) Elephant and Piggie is one of my favorite series to read with little kids. When I taught second grade, my students LOVED them.
