In my experience an alternator in this price range, the electrical connections are off and you have to splice the wires. Not with this one. Everything bolted up and the factory connections plugged right in. Works like a champ with zero issues, but I admit I didn't put a multimeter on it to check ...

Installed on a 5.4L 8 cylinder F-150. Was a little worried at first that it might be noisy, but two weeks in it seems fine. Voltage output is correct About $45 cheaper than at any parts store.
