I was skeptical but chipmunks were setting up house in an attached storage room and I was afraid they would make their way into the walls of the house. So far we have zapped 4 of them on 1 set of batteries.

The unitworks great.the drawback is it needs new batteries after every 6 kills. Also the price went up fromlast year. It's getting to be too much money for this convenience.

It's not really designed for outdoor use and can't get wet but I have successfully eliminated over a dozen chipmunks from my garden in less than a week. I just bring it in at night and in rainy conditions.
