This rug is very soft, but didn't quite appear new. I was Was a bit disappointed by a large black thread? (Or a lose thread?) poking out randomly from the carpet. It's a bit of an eye sore and very obvious in the spot it's placed. The description also said beige, but I'd also say it's more brown.
