There are so many urban young adult books these days about vampires, werewolves and magical creatures inhabiting our world but unseen to the normal eye so I was pleasantly surprised when this series really held together. This is one of my favorite books ever! I love a good adventure, and it gets really annoying when a sappy loves story takes over. However, this book is the perfect combination of both. All of you people who love the whole forbidden love thing will fall head over heals for City of Bones!!
