They're not gold they're brass colored. Everybody does compliment me on them. I wish the hydraulics to adjust the seat height worked for all of them. They are a nice sized stool with a generous seat.

They were actually more substantial than I was expecting which was a nice surprise. These are brass colored, not gold. The hydraulics are messed up in two out of four stools purchased. I need the seating so will keep anyways. They were shipped with incredible care. Not one scratch on any of them.
