I learned more about the almost-local belly dancing scene than I had any right to expect. Very enjoyable.

This isn't that great of a book, buti t's tolerably well-written and it is fun,a fter all, to read a memoir of a women going through bellydance shows and classes etc, if you are in the same situation.

This book is just ok, some of the stories are entertaining, but there's also a lot of reliance on tired stereotypes and catty gossip.
