I enjoy this story because it includes a cute dog, I think a lot of kids enjoy animals and specially dogs in books. This is a funny book with going in alphabetic order on what Pete eats. I would use this book as a read aloud to the classroom.

In this ABC book, we go through everything Pete, the dog, likes to eat - and it's definitely not what's he's supposed to be eating. This book is humorous to children, as well as adults. It would be great to read to a Kindergarten class who is learning to master the alphabet.
