Classic, nice entry in the "celebrate diversity" genre of kids books. About an interracial family, so a nice change from the more common version of all the kids in a classroom or school.

A celebration of the various skin tones. I love that the author makes a point to show that white is the color of snow and milk and that the kids aren't that shade of white. I'd love to use this with students to talk about race.
