They are very soft. They do flatten down with use but when I washed them( don't put in dryer) the fluff right back to they way the looked when I first bought them and continue to do so almost a year later

so soft and wash super well. I have had a blue set for years and it still looks new after we used it while living in our RV at a construction site for 9 months. Loved it so much that I bought another blue set and 2 gray sets when I was able to find them again.
