Alphabet Books by Sleeping Bear Press-nice illustrations, good information. I am honestly not crazy about the alphabet format but the art work make these interesting browsing books. There are books written for each state and a wide variety of subjects.

This book could be used to create a text innovation. Each student could write their own alphabet book while standing on the shoulders of Elissa Grodin. They could write about some topic in our U.S. history. Something that defines Americans.
