Works just like a hitch should, sturdy, easy to use, had no problems hauling a short flat trailer with my car. Stays put. Can't say its something special but functional with a bend that makes it easier to grip. As shown in the photo, it's about the length of my hand, although I have small hands.

This feels very strong. It's heavy and the groove where the pin goes is deep. The clip is strong and hold well on the grooved pin. Looks like it will last a very long time.
