My 14 yo son and I read this together. We're not hunters or avid campers or anything, but McManus has a way of defining jargon as he goes along so the constant stream of laughter isn't slowed down by confusion. Not a lot of wisdom here maybe, because many of the 'characters' are slightly stereoty...
