This book is a disturbing yet brutally honest account of the conflict in Yugoslavia. Maas' writing is easy-to-read, and helps to put the war in context for even the most uninformed readers.

Devastating book. Well written and detailed. But it will leave you angry and saddened by the level of inhumanity descibed. Must read though.
