I can confirm the other 1-star review; this alarm clock has a constant buzzing sound. It's fine if there's background noise or on the far side of the room, but not on my nightstand!

I am returning this clock because when I took the clock out of the box and plugged it in the outlet and only the top light came on.

Clock would be perfect, but from the time we plugged it in... it makes a loud buzzing noise. Unfortunately, the box was thrown out with all the Christmas packaging, so we will be taking a loss on this because I cannot return it. Wish it wasn't so loud... it would have been perfect. :(
