We really liked the unit for 21 days and then it broke. Something internally got blocked up and ice continued to be made during the night. It eventually built up enough pressure to break the plastic top away from the unit. Submitted a warranty claim... waiting for a resolution.

dangerous!!!! Top exploded off breaking the screws off like a pressurized cannon and shot out of machine. luckily no one was hurt. It was louder than it advertised, made good ice though but didn't last 9 months. For an appliance at this price , i feel it should have lasted longer.
